This full-day outing focuses on fly fishing in the scenic Uco Valley, with pickup from your hotel in Mendoza. An excursion into remote valleys takes you to private rivers populated with rainbow and brown trout. Expect to spend the day fishing, with views of wildlife such as desert foxes, distant pumas, and condors.
At around 2 PM, enjoy a barbecue lunch featuring local beef, fresh salads, and fine wines. After refuelling, you'll have more time to fish in the afternoon before returning to Mendoza City by 6 PM. All fishing equipment is supplied, and snacks and drinks are included throughout the day. Horseback riding can be arranged as an additional option.

As beginners, we greatly appreciated the patience of our guides, Pablo and Augustin, who genuinely aimed to ensure we had a fantastic time and successfully caught fish. The scenery was stunning, and we even spotted some guanacos, which are similar to mini llamas. Just a heads up: the lunch was more of a charcuterie board rather than an asado, but it was still very tasty.

We had an unforgettable day fly fishing in the Andes mountains. The scenic drive to Valle de Uco offered stunning views of Embalse Potrerillos and the majestic Andes. Upon reaching La Quebrada de El Condor, we prepared for a unique fishing experience. Our guides, Daniel and Agustin, were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Agustin expertly guided us and shared his fishing skills, making our day even more special. We loved the serene atmosphere, listening to the mountain stream, spotting condors, and catching trout. The experience was truly remarkable. To top it off, we enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by chef Hugo. We're grateful for this tour and appreciate Agustin and the entire team's efforts in making it so memorable. We highly recommend this tour.

The scenery is breathtaking, and the drive itself was worthwhile. This is a genuine adventure, not a tourist trap, so if that’s what you seek, you should definitely reserve it. The hike is easy, but don’t forget to wear a hat and apply sunscreen.

The secluded river was indeed private, peaceful, and offered a beautiful drive through the Andes to get there. The barbecue lunch turned out to be an impressive three-course meal with wine, exceeding my expectations in both quality and quantity. The charming home on-site has a kitchen, dining room, and a cozy outdoor fire pit. The rustic dining area where we ate was delightful. I highly recommend this tour.
