Reviews
We had an outstanding guided cycling tour to three wineries and a local provider. Our bike guide was approachable, accommodating, and engaging. Each winery we visited was unique, and at the smaller ones, the guides were exceptional—knowledgeable, passionate about their family businesses, and incredibly welcoming. We shared many laughs and truly appreciated their company.
Exploring the vineyards was enjoyable, and our guide Karen was outstanding. The wineries we toured offered rich history and fantastic wines to sample. The lunch was exceptional, featuring six courses expertly paired with wines.
Martina was an outstanding guide. We visited three wineries, enjoying tastings at two of them and having lunch at one. This tour was a fantastic opportunity to experience Lujan de Cuyo and sample delicious wines.
This tour exceeded our expectations. We joined with friends and found the check-in process smooth, thanks to our wonderful guide, Karen, who ensured a safe and suitable pace for us as older travellers. Additionally, Flora, the owner, kindly drove my husband to meet the group after he had a foot injury weeks before the trip. The overall value was impressive: the first winery offered a fantastic guide, the second provided a delightful lunch, and the third featured stunning mountain views. Plus, all the wines were delightful.
The tour provided a fantastic opportunity to explore the bodegas in Mendoza. We visited three wineries, starting with an in-depth tour that offered informative insights into the wine production process. We gained practical knowledge beneficial for future wine purchases. The tasting that followed was captivating, highlighting how different cheeses and food enhance the wines. Lunchtime featured a delicious three-course meal enjoyed under the shade of grapevines, with staff members at the winery being exceptionally kind. The leisurely atmosphere added to our enjoyment. Our last stop was a stunning bodega with views of the mountains and vineyard, where we had another brief winery tour and tasting. We highly recommend Karen as a biking guide; she was attentive and made sure we enjoyed our ride at a comfortable pace. While the bikes were adequate for the experience, it’s worth noting that part of the bike route was along busy city roads, which felt a bit chaotic. Given the traffic, families might want to consider alternatives. Most of our time was spent at the wineries, with biking in between. Overall, it was a wonderful day and we recommend Vistalba Bike Tours.
We enjoyed a guided tour that was incredibly relaxing, with everything taken care of for us. It was a truly fun day, and I highly recommend it.
The day could not have been better, which is typical in Mendoza. Our guide, Abby, organized visits to three wineries with distinct styles. Luli, our host at the first winery, communicated well in English and had extensive knowledge about the winery's history and the Mendoza region. Overall, it was an ideal day that combined some physical activity with excellent wine.
We had a great time on this tour; our guide was wonderful, and the lunch offered an amazing view along with delicious food. The wines were outstanding as well.
The bike tour and wine tasting were fantastic. The ride was enjoyable, the views were stunning, and the wine and food were great. It's an unforgettable experience for wine enthusiasts that should not be overlooked.
I highly recommend this tour; it was fantastic. We visited three wineries, each offering a unique atmosphere. At the first winery, we had a guided tour and learned extensively about its history and the winemaking process, thanks to our friendly and knowledgeable guide. The second winery treated us to a delicious three-course lunch in a lovely garden setting, where the staff was attentive and pleasant. The final winery featured breathtaking views of the Andes and felt reminiscent of modern Napa Valley wineries. Abby, our guide from the bike company, was excellent. The biking was easy since it was all flat, but the heat at 95° made the ride back a bit challenging. This tour is a must for anyone looking for a fun and relaxed day of wine tasting.
