Muzaffar and Meera established their couture fashion label in 1990 to highlight the traditional crafts of the Awadh region. Kotwara House serves as a vibrant hub for craftsmanship, supported by design and restoration efforts from Muzaffar and Meera Ali. The couple has revitalized traditional artistry from Lucknow. Visitors will have the chance to observe their workshop specializing in Chikan, Zari, and Mukaesh work for the 'Kotwara' label. You can appreciate the various pieces being prepared and converse with skilled artisans on-site. Additionally, you will view collected artifacts, notable works of calligraphy, and paintings. There will be brief dance clips from Muzaffar's renowned films like Umrao Jaan, complemented by a cup of hot tea or coffee. After the tour, return transportation to your hotel in Lucknow will be provided.
