Dean, our tour guide, was exceptional. The experience exceeded our expectations. Being the only two participants allowed us to explore various areas of the island. He even prepared homemade tea using plants from his garden. His British English was clear, and he was quite polite and well-mannered. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Dean was a fantastic host throughout this experience. He took us on a scenic hour-long drive around the island, sharing insights on historically significant events. Afterward, we visited his home, where he gathered herbs from his garden and prepared three varieties of tea for us. We also enjoyed scones and various other treats. I highly recommend both Dean and this experience.
Dean was very kind and offered a unique tea experience that was quite different from the usual. It was a private event, just for our group. We took a short tour around the island, exploring local places and their histories, which was mostly new to me after 10-12 visits to Bermuda. We had opportunities to engage with the local flora and fauna, including a visit to Dean's garden where he sourced fresh herbs for the tea. The highlight was sampling four different teas made with the freshly picked herbs, accompanied by some snacks. As a cook and tea enthusiast, I enjoyed sharing insights with Dean. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in learning about Bermudian life.
