At the Underwater Exploration Institute, you'll learn about the rich biodiversity and ecology of the surrounding waters. Then, at the Crystal Caves, marvel at the beautiful limestone formations and crystal-clear underground pools.

Reviews
Be wary of this offering. It feels more like a taxi service. If you have a car, it's better to drive yourself to Crystal Caves, which are worth seeing. The Bermuda Underwater Exploration is pretty cheesy, if that's what you enjoy. Ultimately, I spent $300 for two tickets, and after a 25-minute tour, we waited 50 minutes for our driver, who refused to come early. Viator does not accurately represent what you're paying for. Save your money and either drive yourself or get a taxi; there was no advantage to booking through Viator.
Experiencing the caves firsthand and hearing the story of their discovery was truly captivating. This was the standout moment of our time in Bermuda.
The caves are stunning. While entry might seem a bit pricey for the limited area you can explore, that's typical in Bermuda. However, having a great guide like Ron makes it feel worth the cost.
The guide provided a wealth of information, and I picked up many new things. The view was stunning, making it a worthwhile and speedy excursion.
This was an incredible experience. Be prepared for a lot of steps if you plan to explore both caves, so take your time. The guides provided great information. If you're on the island, check the cruise ship schedule and try to avoid those days, as it can get very crowded and likely diminish the experience.
Visiting the Crystal Caves is a must, but this tour is essentially self-guided. It simply involves transportation to and from the site, with ticket costs included. We had various drivers who dropped us off and picked us up at each point.
Shelly, our driver and tour guide, was excellent. The aquarium and zoo provided plenty of enjoyment, and the crystal caves were incredible. Nathan also did a fantastic job as our tour guide.
The caves were stunning, featuring incredible sulfur formations. However, the tour was quite brief. I recommend renting an electric car for self-drive instead of using a taxi. Be aware that there are many steps—85 down and 85 up—so those with knee issues should reconsider.
This experience was a complete scam. The tour operator seemed very untrustworthy. We were picked up late in a dilapidated vehicle; my seatbelt was broken, the left side mirror was absent, and the roof was hanging with many push pins, which I noticed only after we started driving. Upon arriving at the caves, it was clear that this was nothing more than a taxi ride with entry fees for $477. For three people, it should have cost under $150 based on taxi rates and the $25 admission fee per person. No actual tour was conducted by the operator, as that was managed by the excellent staff at Crystal Cave. Feeling unsafe, we opted for an independent taxi back to our hotel. Even after telling the driver we didn't need a ride back, he persisted in offering 'soft drinks' he had mentioned earlier. I truly dread to think what could have happened had we continued. The driver claimed to be inexperienced and just filling in. It is shocking that TripAdvisor allows such a tour operator to be listed, making me question my future bookings.
The caves were stunning, and we appreciated the opportunity to explore both of them. However, our taxi driver provided minimal information about Bermuda, and I found myself asking many questions, most of which he couldn't respond to. Others on the tour reported that their bus driver was very informative, which left me feeling somewhat let down with the experience.
