We discovered this excursion through our cruise line, but their prices were exorbitant. A search online led us to this tour, which was very similar to the cruise option but at a much more reasonable cost and felt almost private for our group of eight. Our driver acted not only as a driver but also provided insightful commentary during our travels to and from the sites. The aquarium was enjoyable, albeit small, with some interactive elements for the kids. However, the highlight was the caves, which were stunning natural formations. Both the kids and adults greatly appreciated the comprehensive tour given by the guides. If you're interested in a non-beach activity, this is definitely a fantastic choice.
My girlfriend and I visited friends in Bermuda and chose an excursion to the Crystal Caves and Aquarium, which exceeded our expectations. Our journey began with a pickup in Hamilton from the friendly and knowledgeable Aldwyn, who shared fascinating historical and cultural insights about the island as we drove towards the caves, enjoying the stunning views of the South Shore along the way. At the caves, our guide Darius provided a thorough overview of the cave's history and geological features, all while keeping the atmosphere lively with his great sense of humor. The cave experience was truly mesmerizing. After the cave tour, Aldwyn was ready for us and took us to the aquarium, where we observed various fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and even three seals. Following the aquarium visit, we explored the immersive zoo, which allowed us to enter the habitat and closely interact with lemurs, giant tortoises, and more. The day ended with our return to Hamilton, leaving us with unforgettable memories. I would highly recommend this experience.
Having never visited Bermuda before, I learned about these caves online and felt compelled to check them out. They were truly incredible! The caves are roughly an hour's drive from the Knowings Wharf cruise terminal. Our guide was very informative, and we enjoyed seeing various parts of the island along the route.
Initially, we were taken aback when a taxi driver arrived to pick us up for the tour, as he was hired by the tour company. However, he turned out to be an excellent guide, taking us to all the sites we anticipated. He was friendly and supportive throughout the experience, which ultimately made for a positive outing.
After receiving the pick-up location details, we did not get a confirmation, which left us uncertain about the arrangement. We contacted the operator but only got voicemail. Once picked up, however, we had a fantastic experience. Raymond was very personable and professional, and the tour activities were outstanding.
I had an amazing time visiting Crystal Caves as well as the zoo and aquarium. The tour guide was fantastic, and I appreciated the convenience of being picked up and dropped off.
We decided to book our tour independently instead of going through the cruise line. The experience was advertised as lasting about four hours with included transportation, and we truly felt it was worth every penny. Dean was exceptional. He began the tour by driving us around the island, sharing insights on its history and culture, and highlighting various landmarks while stopping for photos at scenic points. He efficiently arranged our entry to both the Zoo/Aquarium and the Crystal Cave, consistently arriving on time for pickups. On our way back to the ship, Dean offered us advice on activities for the next day, which coincidentally was Good Friday, a national holiday on the island. This was a five-star experience, and I would certainly reach out to Dean again if I visited the island again.
Calvin proved to be an informative guide, adapting our itinerary to create a memorable experience while also avoiding rain and crowds. His easy-going nature contributed to a wonderful day.

My family of three adult women enjoyed this excursion during our cruise stop. The Crystal Cave was extraordinary, with clear water and a well-informed guide. Although the path to the cave was steep, the underground scenery made it worthwhile. Handrails were provided, and we had ample time to explore. The zoo was also enjoyable, featuring both indoor and outdoor exhibits, and we appreciated the restrooms at both sites. We wandered through the zoo at our leisure for about an hour. The caves were a bit crowded, but we felt the time there was adequate. We took plenty of photos at both locations, and while the zoo was wheelchair accessible, the caves were not.
