02In my experiences, people will be able to live and know from the perspective of a local person with indigenous descent. many traditions that are very important to the culture such as medicinal plants, knowing the ceremony house, crafts, cocoa chocolate making and history. and also very important to share with local people and take home a beautiful memory of everything experienced in the place. and then after this beautiful cultural experience. We visited a waterfall in the area where you can swim and enjoy nature. It is an experience that will allow you to connect with the indigenous Bribri culture of the area and appreciate the nature of its surroundings, which very few people managed to visit and learn about the beauty of this culture. And something also very important is that even the little ones who live this experience will learn about one of the best-known cultures in Costa Rica.

09You will be able to participate in part of the preparation process. Also will learn the details of the traditional way of cooking caribbean meals, and to select fresh ingredients that are locally produced to elaborate this meals. We will be speaking about the history and culture of the town. If anyone has a dietary restrictions, please inform it in advance to accommodate everyone. Vegetarians and Vegans are welcome.
10“We will leave Puerto Viejo at 7:45 a.m. and drive for about 30 minutes to the Bribri Indigenous Reserve. There, we’ll meet an Indigenous family who will share their culture, traditions, and ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants. Participants will explore a permaculture garden, taste fresh cacao fruit, and take part in the process of making traditional chocolate. In most cases, your guide will be a native Bribri guide from the Duriwak Bribri clan. On the way back, we’ll stop at a beautiful waterfall in the mountains of Talamanca, where guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool beneath the falls. After this relaxing break, we will return to Puerto Viejo.” Many thanks.
