It is on the journey from Leh to Pangong Lake and ranks as the third-highest motorable road in the world. Named after Saint Changla Baba, this pass serves as a noteworthy experience. The ascent provides dramatic landscape changes, from arid mountains to peaks covered in snow, accompanied by icy winds. At the top, there is a small temple dedicated to Changla Baba, where many travelers pause for a quick prayer and photographs. Despite its rugged landscape and cold winds, Changla delivers spectacular views of the Himalayas, and the drive is a key aspect of the journey to Pangong Lake.
