The views of the winding mountain roads and surrounding valleys are striking. Your route continues alongside the Shyok River, stopping at Samstanling Gompa in Sumur and the hot springs at Panamik. In Hunder, the late afternoon light casts a unique glow over the sand dunes.

After checking into your tent or guest house in Nubra Valley, you have time to explore this stunning landscape. The following day includes breakfast and a visit to the ancient Diskit Gompa, which overlooks the Shyok River. You’ll return to Leh via Khardung La, concluding your adventure in Nubra Valley.
