Reviews
The experience was enjoyable, as the half-day duration felt sufficient. The staff were pleasant, though I found the prices to be a bit high. I ate at Port Denarau, so I only had a drink while there.
The experience was enjoyable, but I felt the cost for both tickets and facilities on the island was somewhat high.
I strongly recommend considering the full-day option. The private cabana was definitely worth the additional cost and provided a very relaxing experience. It’s essential to bring mosquito spray since the cabanas are located near bushes, and I suffered quite a bit from bites—thankfully, a staff member had some available. My service was average, about a 3 out of 5, as the attendant came by roughly once an hour, which was fine for me since I didn't need much.
We enjoyed a wonderful half day here, even with some rain. Following a friend's recommendation, we opted for the beachside cabanas with a private butler for ordering food and drinks. The cabanas were quiet and away from the crowds, enhancing our relaxation. Although it rained for about an hour, the cabana provided good shelter. One meal stood out while the other two were just average. The staff were friendly and gladly took photos for us, and there is a large swing near the jetty perfect for pictures. One thing to keep in mind is that paddle boarding is closed during low tide, which we were unaware of and missed the opportunity to use them. It would have been helpful to have this information beforehand.
Malanala is a wonderfully relaxed tropical island that offers everything you need. The team here is exceptional.
The trip was well organized, but the boat departed over 30 minutes late. The island is beautiful and the pool is nice, but it's not exactly like the pictures, with many rocks and a narrow beach. We waited 20 minutes to get towels for swimming and ended up getting our own. We rented a day bed, but half of it left our feet exposed to the sun. The food was only average.
I had my doubts about the cost, but it turned out to be completely justifiable. My teenagers had a great time as well. The ocean water was warm and crystal clear. We snorkeled, swam, and kayaked, plus enjoyed the infinity pool, meals, and drinks. We were all exhausted on our way home, but it was a satisfying exhaustion. We participated in the half-day trip from 12pm to 6pm.
The location is stunning, with excellent facilities and affordable food and drinks. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon as a family, with members aged 10 to 70.
It was a delightful experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The island's beauty was stunning, and the food was also very tasty.
This experience was outstanding. Be sure to bring your sun protection gear. We booked poolside sunbeds, which were definitely worth it. The snorkeling was decent, but I’ve been to better locations. Ultimately, it’s all about the ambiance, service, and the beautiful setting. Thank you.
