I was unsure about trying the mud pool, but I'm glad I went for it. Our tour guide was wonderful and provided helpful information, which we appreciated as it was our first visit to Fiji. The mud pool experience was both relaxing and therapeutic, and I left with incredibly smooth skin thanks to the mud we used. It’s a lovely location with a great setup.
We had an incredible experience thanks to our driver, Mr. Nit. He was very hospitable and made our lengthy travel day a delight. He truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!
This was a really enjoyable and soothing experience. We participated in just the mud pool and massage. Doing this tour upon our arrival in Fiji after a long flight was an excellent decision.
Anand was an incredibly warm and friendly guide who stood out as exceptional. The journey was delightful, and the ambiance at the temple was inviting. I can't forget to mention Anand; he truly is amazing.
Bring towels as there are no hooks to hang clothes in the shower area. Overall, it was a unique experience and even more enjoyable in the rain. However, the last pool could be cleaner, and the slippery floor needs attention. The changing and shower facilities could use some improvements as well.
I booked this trip expecting a 4-hour tour that would include gardens and a temple, but it only lasted about 1.5 hours and only went to the mudpool. This was disappointing, and our driver confirmed it was only the mudpool. I cannot recommend this as it was not as advertised.
Nit from Valentine Tours was an excellent guide, offering insightful historical context about Nadi and Fiji while also being flexible with our schedule during the half-day tour. I strongly recommend both Nit and Valentine Tours. We had a wonderful experience at the mudpool and hot springs, especially since visiting early in the morning made for a peaceful atmosphere.
This is a fun place for kids, especially with the mud bath where they enjoyed splashing mud on each other. The hot springs were pleasantly warm. After applying the mud, we waited about 10-20 minutes for it to dry, then rinsed off in the springs and enjoyed various pools. There are some market stalls on site with prices that felt a bit high, but the $5 coconuts were a standout.
Getting there was straightforward since we were picked up from our hotel, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The massage afterward was also worthwhile.
The mud bath was simply a bucket of mud that you slathered on yourself. It was quite disappointing.
