This was an excellent trip from Tahoe. Snowshoe John brought a lot of energy and knowledge, ensuring we got to experience everything possible. The picnic lunch was also quite enjoyable. We couldn’t have learned so much or seen all we did without John’s guidance.

Waking up early for the 5:00 AM departure was totally worth it. Our tour director, John, was fantastic and went above and beyond to enhance our experience. He even prepared a delicious breakfast and lunch for us; he truly deserves a rating of 10.

My husband and I participated in the tour on September 24th and had a fantastic experience. Our guide, John, was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Although the trip to and from the park is lengthy, the scenery is breathtaking, especially during sunrise or sunset. John also shares informative videos about the park during the journey. The park itself is even more stunning. The temperature fluctuated throughout the day, ranging from 28 to 76 degrees, so dressing in layers is essential. A good night's rest beforehand is important for fully enjoying the tour. The itinerary allows for a lot of activities in one day, which can sometimes feel a bit rushed, but the experience is rewarding. The tour is well-organized, and they manage time effectively to ensure everyone stays on schedule. We had a wonderful group and a perfect day. I would highly recommend this tour if you're looking to explore Yosemite in a single day.
Our guide, Snowshow Joe, was punctual and very supportive throughout the tour, which began before 5 am and finished after 7:30 pm. We enjoyed a stunning day with clear skies and vibrant aspen foliage. If you're new to this type of tour, note that it’s a long day, but you'll have several chances to eat and use restrooms. Joe even surprised us with his own lunch buffet that included fresh salads, wraps, salsa and chips, fruit salads, and various drinks. We brought snacks but didn’t need them. Be aware that there's limited space for bags on the bus, so any extras will need to be kept in your lap or by your feet. The return trip from the sequoias was a bit challenging, so think about your ability to walk just over a mile uphill on the way back. Snowshow Joe's knowledge of the entire region, even outside the park, was exceptional. The beautiful park, incredible guide, and perfect weather all made for a fantastic experience for my wife and me. We highly recommend this tour, especially for first-time visitors who prefer not to drive in heavy traffic and navigate steep drop-offs. You’ll receive great insights into the park in a relaxed setting.
