The dinner cruise was fantastic. We enjoyed delicious food, especially the salmon and steak. Three hours on the boat flew by, and after dinner, a band played a great mix of music. The pickup to Zephyr Cove was also very convenient.
The meal was awful, with the steak served cold and grey. It was also completely dark before we set off, making it impossible to see anything.
The food was tasty, but it was disappointing that we couldn't enjoy the scenery since it was too dark. The music was rather loud, making conversation difficult. I suggest choosing a daytime slot if you're considering this.

I traveled from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe and booked a hotel room for the boat cruise. We arrived at the pickup location and waited for the bus, which never arrived. There was no communication—no calls, texts, or emails. After 45 minutes of waiting with another family, we tried to reach out but ended up on hold. I cannot recommend this experience.
Upon our arrival at the marina for check-in, we were informed that the Coast Guard had revoked the boat's operating license the previous day due to maintenance issues, resulting in the cancellation of our cruise. They had been aware of this situation for over 24 hours yet failed to notify us or Viator. This left us with the unnecessary expense of traveling to the marina and paying the entrance fee. While they offered a refund or to book us on a sunset wine and appetizers tour three hours later, had we been informed a day earlier, we could have made different dinner plans. For a location reliant on tourism, their customer service is lacking.
The cruise on Lake Tahoe was incredibly relaxing. We had dinner options and enjoyed a full bar, plus dessert. After the meal, there was a live band and dancing upstairs. The entire experience lasted about 2.5 to 3 hours. I would certainly do another dinner cruise on the lake.
