The guide provided a wealth of information, and it was wonderful to experience the lake from different perspectives. I would highly recommend this tour. My only small issue was the $25 parking fee at the Golden Nugget Casino where we met.
The pickup was on time at the chosen location, and the guide provided an excellent narrative during the entire day. There were ample bathroom breaks, and we enjoyed a great lunch at Rosie's in Tahoe City. I decided to book this trip based on other reviews suggesting it as a great first day experience, and I'm very pleased with that choice. This was my first visit to Lake Tahoe.
The tour of the lake was incredibly enjoyable. We experienced a lot and gained a deep understanding of the area, making it far superior to exploring the lake on our own.
Due to American Airlines canceling our connecting flight to Lake Tahoe, we couldn’t take the tour. I called on Monday to cancel since we wouldn't make it, but Viator chose not to refund our fee. This decision was extremely disappointing as it wasn't our fault. Although we couldn't attend the tour, the lack of understanding from the operator was frustrating. I find it hard to rate the tour when we didn't experience it, but their customer service regarding the cancellation was very unsatisfactory.
Nevada Smith, our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our needs. His sense of humor kept things engaging throughout the trip, making for an exciting experience in South Lake Tahoe.
The guide was outstanding, and we gained a lot of knowledge during the tour. Despite the rain, we experienced so much beauty. The van was comfortable, making the entire day truly fantastic.

This trip around Lake Tahoe was truly wonderful, led by the fantastic Nevada, who is exceptionally knowledgeable. We enjoyed this same tour a few years ago and loved it so much that we chose to do it again, especially since Nevada was our guide once more.
