Everything went seamlessly without any issues. It was exactly the type of tour we hoped for. Additionally, the interaction among group members added extra value to the experience.
The history and sites experienced on this tour were fantastic. Each participant received a headphone and an audio box for clear communication with the guide, who spoke live rather than using a recording. Be prepared for significant walking, covering approximately 4.5 miles throughout the day, which may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. It's important to note that the tour does not include entry into the Colosseum, as we only paused for five minutes to take a photo. There was some initial confusion since a man escorted us to the bus and then didn’t provide information for the hour-long ride to the Vatican. After arrival, another guide took over the tour, though it took a moment to grasp the situation. Nevertheless, we had a great time, and the guides were both friendly and knowledgeable.
The tour was fantastic. Our guide, Elizabeth, was exceptional—extremely knowledgeable and quite entertaining. She truly went above and beyond. I loved her saying, "In Rome, if a photo isn't Instagrammable, it’s not worth taking." We returned to the ship on time.
This tour in Rome was an ideal choice for us. I really enjoyed the lunch venue that was selected, and both the driver and our guide were top-notch.
The vehicle lacked air conditioning, with the driver stating it was the company's fault. The vents were cut out. Our driver struggled with English and wasn’t helpful. However, once we reached Rome, the two tour guides we had were excellent and I highly recommend them. For the $400 price of this deluxe Rome trip, I expected more. I wouldn’t suggest this option since we did most of the walking ourselves. We later realized we could have taken a round trip bus for 50 euros and still had guides, which is something to consider.
We had a fantastic tour with Eliza as our guide. Our driver met us right at the ship, and we quickly got started. There was no sense of being rushed, and Eliza was incredibly knowledgeable and enjoyable. They chose an excellent restaurant for us and ensured we returned to our ship with plenty of time. I highly recommend this experience.

Be aware that this tour involves over 10,000 steps. The sights are amazing, but we didn't realize we would be walking to all the attractions from where we parked. Our guide had extensive knowledge, but shared so much information that many in the group tuned out early. Overall, it’s a great tour, but if walking 5 miles isn't for you, consider other options.
