  An incredible experience filled with local flavors. We enjoyed amazing oysters right from the vendor at small tables in the market, complemented by local wine from Ile d’oberon. We also tasted the regional aperitif, pineau, and visited a lovely little restaurant. The pastries were delightful. Overall, the tour offered great value, and John was an excellent guide. Exploring the town provided us with numerous ideas for market visits and other places to go. Thank you for the tasting adventure!

  We decided to join this tour at the conclusion of our walking tour in La Rochelle since John had openings. Having never been on a food tour before, we are now eager to try more. The locations we visited were ones we would have missed otherwise, and even with one person not drinking alcohol, it was well worth the price. John's extensive knowledge and his strong connections with the vendors provided us with deep insights into the food and culture. I highly recommend this experience.
