• Following a scenic 20-minute drive from the previous location, the journey leads to the Fire Mountains, a unique landscape shaped by volcanic eruptions in southern Lanzarote during the 18th and 19th centuries. This area features striking red craters, lava flows, and lunar-like terrains that showcase the earth's fiery transformation. The Fire Mountains span 200 kilometers and are part of Timanfaya National Park, where some of the world's most significant volcanic activity is observable, highlighted by the substantial volume of material ejected and its impressive duration: a continuous eruption lasting six years from 1730 to 1736. • After a half-hour walk, there is an opportunity to enjoy a 20-minute camel ride for an additional charge of 11€ per person. Alternatively, a small museum about the history of camels on Lanzarote is available for free if preferred. • Departing from the National Park, another 20-minute drive leads to La Geria, an area renowned for its vineyards on the island. A stop at a winery allows for tasting and purchasing wine with the Lanzarote designation of origin. • From La Geria, it takes roughly 20 minutes to reach a green lake situated within a volcanic crater, which has become one of Lanzarote's key tourist attractions.
