Chamba guided us on two consecutive tours, and he was fantastic. The hike is definitely challenging but incredibly rewarding. It takes around 35 minutes each way, and we had enough time to explore the waterfalls, swim, and relax before the return trip. Though it’s quite hot, the water provides nice relief, and there are chances to purchase drinks and fresh juice along the way.
I had a fantastic time at the Tamanique Waterfall tour with my guide Pablo. The atmosphere was great, the organization of the tour was impressive, and it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend it.
I joined the Tamanique waterfalls tour led by Salva, and it was a fantastic experience. Salva's extensive planning ensured everything went smoothly; my girlfriend and I just had to arrive at the meeting point. His knowledge about the waterfalls’ history, flora, and surroundings made the trip even more memorable. We were so immersed in the experience that we appreciated him taking numerous photos for us. Additionally, he brought along some delicious mangos from his garden, which were perfect for re-energizing on our return journey. I highly recommend this tour.
Chamba made for an incredible tour guide. The hike is tough but the waterfalls are truly rewarding. We had ample time to relax, explore, and cool off before the return hike. Be sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable footwear. The views are stunning, and the drive from El Tunco is both brief and picturesque.
Our group of five friends from El Tuco Beach participated in this tour with Pablo, who was a fantastic guide and very careful driver. His English was excellent, and we had a great time. He took many photos of us and went the extra mile to assist the slower members of our group. We rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.
We arranged this tour at the last minute with Salva, the company's owner, and it became one of the highlights of our vacation. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for his guests were evident from the moment he picked us up at our hotel. Salva drove us to the stunning Tamanique Falls near El Tunco, which is an absolutely breathtaking spot. The hike down to the falls was pleasant and easy, while the ascent back offered a satisfying challenge. The waterfalls themselves are gorgeous, a perfect place to cool off and relax after the hike. Before reaching the falls, we had lunch at a delightful local organic farm, where we enjoyed free-range chicken with fresh garden vegetables—simple yet delicious and memorable. What made this experience truly special was Salva. He shared intriguing insights into El Salvador's recent history and the incredible changes the country is experiencing. His knowledge, love for his homeland, and genuine wish to help made our visit feel personal and authentic. I highly recommend booking a tour with Salva; you will be pleased.
This was an amazing experience. If you're searching for things to do in El Salvador, don't think twice about it!
The tour was fantastic. Chamba and Freddy took us to two stunning locations. The hike was challenging but incredibly rewarding, especially when swimming in the refreshing waterfalls. Both guides were knowledgeable and considerate, and they captured excellent photos along the way.
The hike was quite challenging for me as a 64-year-old man, but it was rewarding to experience the countryside's beautiful scenery. The waterfalls were particularly impressive.
This was a fantastic experience. Chamba was incredibly friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable, providing us with plenty of homegrown mangoes to enjoy. The waterfalls are stunning, and the hike is very pleasant. After a sweaty trek, jumping into the chilly water felt so rewarding in the humid climate.
