The service was excellent with comfortable minivans, and the staff were professional. We were picked up from SAN Salvador and other locations like El Tunco playa, before heading to La Union for the ferry. The team was friendly, spoke some English, and there was no pressure for tips.
The breakfast at La Posada while traveling from San Salvador to La Libertad was excellent. Surf City is a lovely park currently being renovated, and nearby El Tunco beach offers plenty of activities. Eating at Betos comes highly recommended. The road west is picturesque, with tunnels through the mountains. Depending on conditions, a visit to Cerro Verde provides stunning views of the volcanoes, and Lake Coatepeque is a great spot to visit before heading back to San Salvador. Highly recommended.
We booked this service well in advance, but the day before, they changed our pick-up from 4 AM to midnight, and then again to 11 PM on the day itself. This caused complications with our hostel, resulting in an extra night’s payment for accommodation that we didn’t use, and we had nowhere to stay that night. The pick-up was rushed and the driver was rude, making several wrong turns during the ride. The most concerning part was that the driver played loud music the entire time, which even my headphones couldn’t drown out, from 11 PM to 5 AM. The air conditioning was never turned on, making it uncomfortably hot. Upon reaching our destination city at 5 AM, they stopped in the city center and yelled for everyone to get out and walk to their hostels, even though ours was half an hour away. After some convincing, they agreed to drop us off, but we were unsure if we could enter since everyone was asleep. Overall, it was a disastrous experience. We only gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because they did get us from point A to point B, but everything else was absolutely awful.

This created issues with our hostel since we ended up paying for an extra night we didn’t need and had nowhere to stay that evening. The staff was rushed and rude, took several wrong routes, played loud music all night, and didn’t turn on the air conditioning. They almost refused to take us to our actual destination, claiming we were "close enough." Overall, it was a complete disaster, and I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.
