I had an incredible experience. Along with two other solo travelers, I spent the day with Chamba, who was punctual (which isn't always common here), an excellent DJ during our ride to and from the mountain, and an outstanding guide all day long. The hike was gorgeous, well-marked, and properly maintained. The views at the summit were breathtaking, and the lunch spot during our return was delicious. I highly recommend this adventure.

This hike is a must for anyone visiting El Salvador. It's quite manageable for those in good shape, as I noticed many children and older adults taking part. My guide, Pablo, was excellent and captured some amazing photos. They offer wooden or regular hiking sticks on-site, so there's no need to bring your own. The ice cream at the summit was a unique treat. Definitely worth the experience!
