I took a surf lesson with Pablo, and I want to share that I'm 47 and had never surfed before. I even had a scary experience in the ocean back in 2004 and can't ride a bike. Pablo made me feel completely at ease with his friendly and laid-back attitude. His teaching style was straightforward and motivating, allowing me to feel like every time I got on the board, I was one step closer to actually surfing. Eventually, I managed to kneel and even stand up, which felt incredible. I've traveled extensively and done many activities, but despite my initial doubts, I'd say this was one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done. Thank you, Pablo; I wholeheartedly recommend him. I'm now actively seeking more places to take surfing lessons since I’m leaving Tunco tonight. It was a fantastic experience.
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our first surfing experience with Pedro and Kevin. As complete beginners, we found the atmosphere welcoming. The instructors provided clear, step-by-step guidance and helped us correct our mistakes, which allowed us to make significant progress during the lesson. The duration was perfect for learning to ride some waves without becoming fatigued. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to other novice surfers.
Chamba and Pablo were fantastic! They were very friendly, patient, and wonderfully accommodating for beginners. They made us feel at ease immediately and had us riding waves quickly. This was one of the best parts of our trip; we only wish we could experience it again. Highly suggest it!
I visited Tamanique, which was wonderful. The guides accommodated both faster walkers and a slower group. I particularly enjoyed swimming and jumping in the pools. Pablo, my guide, was very friendly. When I expressed my desire to surf despite my fears from nearly drowning before, he offered a discounted tour. Though I had overcome my anxiety about swimming and snorkeling, I was still apprehensive about the waves. Pablo was incredibly encouraging and reassuring, helping me improve with every attempt. While I didn't manage to stand up for long, I "knelt surfed" for a short distance. Ultimately, the experience, which I had mixed feelings about initially, turned into something that made me extremely happy. I enjoyed it more and more, and I look forward to taking a second lesson, all thanks to Pablo. He was the best guide I encountered in Central America. Thank you!
