Hector did an excellent job; he was very patient and knowledgeable. He arrived on time in a clean vehicle and exceeded our expectations. My cousin and I were particularly interested in Archbishop Marino, and Hector took us to the church and the crypt, providing us with detailed background on his tragic execution. He also brought us to the volcano, where we enjoyed stunning panoramic views of the city.

The city successfully blends modernity with its rich history. The old buildings retain their original architecture while housing contemporary shops, and the lovely squares add to the charm. The impressive 7-story Library, a gift from the Republic of China to the Salvadoran people, is particularly noteworthy.
Adonis, our driver, was excellent and very accommodating. He took us to a museum of our choice, guiding us there before beginning our City Tour. The volcano was breathtaking, and his knowledge of the city's history was impressive. It’s inspiring to witness the positive changes in El Salvador under its exceptional president. Everything was perfect.

I had a fantastic half-day tour of San Salvador. Alfredo, my tour guide, was exceptional and really brought to life the city's history and culture. I particularly enjoyed the unique architecture of the cathedral and learning about Saint Oscar Romero. The National Library, theater, and vibrant marketplace were also highlights.
