Spending a day in San Salvador was fantastic. The morning included a mini hike at Boqueron, offering stunning views of the crater and the city. Afterward, we visited Picnic, which felt like a small amusement park; the rainbow slide was a fun highlight, although our stay was only about 30 minutes. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local marketplace, then explored historic San Salvador, viewing fascinating churches and lovely plazas while learning about the city's history. Our guide, Alfredo, was outstanding, impressively self-taught in English. He managed our small group well, accommodating two slower walkers. I highly recommend this tour for experiencing many aspects of San Salvador in just one day.
This tour was excellent, with a high level of professionalism from beginning to end. Miguel and driver Jorge were friendly, attentive, and supportive all day. They showed us several interesting sites in downtown San Salvador, and we enjoyed visiting Boqueron Park and the slide. Lunch was also tasty. I highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors to El Salvador and San Salvador.
My rating reflects the difference between what was promised and what I experienced. Adonis, the tour guide, was friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the day. Our driver, George, was also pleasant. Mayra contacted me the day before to confirm my 8:30 a.m. pick-up. However, just before that time, Adonis informed me he would arrive at 9 a.m. This was not a major issue, so I waited in my hotel room. When they arrived, I was surprised to find I was the only participant due to others' cancellations. Our first stop was Parque Nacional El Boquerón, where we spent around three hours enjoying the beautiful views and the history lessons from Adonis. Once George returned, we learned the other tour participants would not be joining us, and it was time for lunch at El Centro Histórico de San Salvador. Following lunch, Adonis gave me a tour of the historic district before George and Adonis brought me back to my hotel. The tour was labeled “Full day | San Salvador City Tour Boquerón Park and Rainbow Slide,” but we did not visit the slide, which I had chosen this tour for. I also expected a walk through Santa Tecla, which did not happen. I only recommend this because of the kindness of Adonis and George; I would have preferred to see the other attractions.
Adonis, our guide, and Vitelio, our driver, were outstanding. The experience was both enriching and enjoyable as we learned more about El Salvador, sharing laughter, kindness, and valuable insights. Adonis is polite, confident in his knowledge, patient, and readily addressed our questions. As a family, we are very satisfied and highly recommend this experience.
I had a fantastic time. My tour guide Adonis and driver Jorge were both friendly and made the journey enjoyable. Adonis was very knowledgeable and great to converse with. I appreciated learning about the city, saw many sights, had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the lunch suggestion. I highly recommend this experience.
This was a wonderful experience featuring insightful historical explanations, incredible sites, and a highly professional guide.
Stanley served as an excellent tour guide, impressing us with his extensive knowledge of El Salvador. He made our experience memorable in so many ways. Thank you very much, Stanley!
Adonis, our tour guide, picked us up from our hotel to commence the San Salvador City tour that included Boqueron Park and the Rainbow Slide. He was knowledgeable and professional, sharing a wealth of historical information with us. The rainbow slide added to the fun of the day.
Alfredo, our guide, was outstanding—well-prepared and provided us with informative and engaging details. He was also friendly and thoughtful. I highly recommend this tour.
We had an excellent tour with Miguel, who showed us many highlights of central San Salvador and the nearby hills. The restaurant stop was enjoyable as well. With just my wife and me on the tour, we could explore at our own pace and experience everything included. I highly recommend it.
