Our experience was fantastic. The staff were both professional and accommodating. Although we couldn't snorkel at La Jolla Cove due to lifeguards advising against it because of the waves, the rental office graciously offered a refund for the rental fees despite us having taken the gear to the cove. I would give them more stars if possible; they run an excellent business. Additionally, we discovered the best prices on souvenir shirts in their shop. I highly recommend this company and suggest checking the surf report on your planned snorkeling day.
We rented equipment and strolled over to La Jolla Cove from the rental location. We had an enjoyable experience with sea lions and birds swimming nearby, plus many fish in the water. I highly recommend it.
I paid for a snorkeling trip in an area where strong waves crashed against rocky shores, making it hard to navigate. I only spotted two types of fish amid abundant seaweed and plant life, which made the experience frustrating. It was not worth it overall. The only highlight was seeing sea lions on the beach, which you can enjoy for free.
If you enjoy nature and swimming, this experience is absolutely worthwhile. My only concern was the limited availability of snorkeling equipment, but I was fortunate to get my hands on a quality snorkel and mask.
This experience was disappointing. The water was filthy and had an unpleasant odor from the sea lions. There were few fish to observe, and the strong waves made it difficult to avoid swallowing the dirty water. Overall, it was not worth it.
The equipment was adequate, and it was great to have an all-day rental at a reduced rate. While exploring, ask local residents for their top recommendations. We discovered some wonderful spots with convenient parking close to a restaurant, where we observed leopard sharks, sand sharks, stingrays, and many small fish in 4-6 feet of water.
Although I may not have chosen the ideal time to go snorkeling due to high tide and some rough water, I still had a fantastic experience. Getting into the wetsuit was simple, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The experience was enjoyable and friendly. However, locating the venue was somewhat challenging since you must enter a gift shop and wait for an owner to provide the equipment. Be aware that there is a short hike from the store to the snorkeling site. Also, although lockers are available for your belongings, the beach can have unpredictable tides, so it's advisable to bring dry bags. The snorkeling adventure itself was incredible and felt otherworldly. I encountered numerous fish, seals, and sea lions, swimming among them in the Pacific. For the cost, it’s an excellent value. The owners are very welcoming and supportive. Just ensure you call ahead to start your adventure promptly.
