Two hours exploring Kuwait’s oil heritage at the Ahmad Al-Jaber Exhibition and the Al-Qurain Martyrs Museum, highlighting stories from the Gulf War.
This two-hour tour in Kuwait City takes you through the Ahmad Al-Jaber Oil & Gas Exhibition, named after Kuwait's 10th ruler and key figure in the development of the oil industry. The exhibition offers insights into the historical significance of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s contributions to modern Kuwait.
Following the oil exhibition, visit the Al-Qurain Martyrs' Museum, which narrates poignant stories from the Gulf War and commemorates the sacrifices made during that time. The tour encapsulates a vital part of Kuwaiti heritage, and visitors should allocate a couple of hours to fully appreciate the exhibits.

I highly recommend this tour. While both locations can be visited independently, having Waleed as a guide added value, especially at the Al Qurain Museum, where guidance is limited. He was open about life in Kuwait, discussing cultural differences, politics, and history. The Oil and Gas Exposition was very informative and well-presented, showcasing the development of Kuwait through its oil and gas industry. I appreciated the interactive exhibits and the compelling video about the over 600 wells that were ignited by Iraqi troops during their withdrawal at the end of the Gulf War, marking the largest environmental disaster ever. In addition to the two main sites, Waleed also took me to Kuwait Tours and would have shown me the old market and museums had I not already visited them and felt a bit tired. I enjoyed this tour as it complements visits to more easily accessible attractions like the beach, towers, and old souk. We concluded with a wonderful Persian dinner, which wasn’t part of the tour.
The oil and gas exhibit was enjoyable and quite fascinating, especially the oil extraction statistics from Kuwait. The Martyr Museum appeared impressive but was closed when we visited, resulting in paying full price for only half the experience. It's a decent tour if you have extra time or are particularly interested in Kuwaiti history and culture, but renting a car might be a simpler option.
My visit to Kuwait was fantastic. Although the Oil Museum was unexpectedly closed, we explored various significant sites throughout the city. I had a wonderful experience and gained a lot of knowledge during the tour.
As a club player, I was thrilled to watch the movie about Marty Supreme. The 2-hour and 30-minute film captivated me with its blend of action, humor, and romance. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Well done, Marty! I’d rate it 19.95 out of 20.
