Situated in Hongtudi Town within the Dongchuan District of Kunming City, Yunnan Province, the Dongchuan Red Land is about 160 kilometers from Kunming's city center. Renowned as the “Color Palette of the Earth,” it is a haven for photographers. The best times to visit are from September to December for the most vivid colors, and then from April to May during the rapeseed flower season.
