This day trip begins with a pickup from your hotel lobby in Kunming, where you'll be driven to the Kunming train station. From there, catch a bullet train to Lijiang. Upon arrival, a local guide will meet you and take you on a tour of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
You'll ascend by cable car to either Yunshanping (Spruce Meadow) or Maoniuping (Yak Meadow) for sweeping views of the snow-capped peaks and surrounding grasslands. A stop at White Water River offers excellent photo opportunities of the mountain scenery. Lunch will be a small hot pot meal at the site before the guide escorts you back to the train station for your return trip to Kunming, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
