The tour guide refused to allow us to visit the cave, claiming it was too late despite our cruise ship only being 15 minutes late in docking. We were promised a refund, but we never received it, regardless of who we spoke to.

The cave is stunning and perfect for photographs. Make sure to wear a raincoat as it's cool and water drips from above. The castle is intriguing as well. However, I felt that our tour guide acted more like a driver. He didn't provide any information during the drive and mainly conversed with the front passenger. He was friendly, but I expected more commentary about the area during the trip.
We had an amazing day with Koper Tours, starting from our pickup all the way through to drop-off. On our way to Postojna Cave, we gained insights about Koper and its inhabitants. The cave experience was remarkable, and it’s advisable to wear layers. Although we were part of a larger group, we still managed to learn and see a great deal. After the caves, we visited the stunning Predjama Castle, where we explored numerous rooms inside with an informative audio guide. Many fellow cruisers only viewed the exterior, so we felt lucky to have the opportunity to see the interior. I highly recommend Koper Tours for small group outings from Koper port. We truly had a fantastic day.
