We were greeted by DeJan right outside the port gates in Koper. There were only seven of us on this tour, traveling in a clean, air-conditioned van, which was very pleasant. We explored lesser-known roads through Izola and Portorož and enjoyed an hour of free time in Piran before reuniting with DeJan. He shared fascinating details about the region that only a local would know, and we also drove through scenic olive groves and vineyards, which added to the experience. Slovenia is wonderfully green, with clear, inviting waters. The tour concluded with a tasting of wine and olive oil at the group's office in Koper after a brief city tour. It was refreshing to see not just the port city but also nearby towns, which provided a richer understanding of the country. I highly recommend this tour.
The guide provided minimal information about the region. In previous tours, I've gained insights into the history, culture, and geography. Although the coastline was beautiful and worth visiting, the guide fell short of expectations.

Our guide picked us up in Trieste, and we had a fantastic tour with a variety of beautiful and intriguing stops. We talked about the salt pans, enjoyed the towns, took a coffee break, and had some shopping time. Nermin, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to my mom's walking needs. At Koper, we visited the company's office where we sampled delicious wine, bread, olive oils, cheeses, and cured meats. The selections were generous, and while they had a few small items for sale, there was no pressure to buy. I appreciated that they offered souvenirs for those with limited shopping time after the tour. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I highly suggest Koper Trips for your travels.
Our guide was fantastic and took us to explore the charming old city of Piran. The tour covered the church, square, and harbor. We enjoyed lunch and wine tasting at a lovely café. His passion for Piran was obvious. A wonderful experience! Thank you!
