The day tour was somewhat disappointing. Our guide waited over 45 minutes for a couple from our cruise who boarded the wrong bus, causing delays for the rest of us. I wouldn't expect anyone to wait that long if I were late. The couple didn't respond to repeated messages regarding their delay, and when they finally arrived, there was no apology to the group or the guide. At Lake Bled, we only had an hour to explore, which was insufficient to enjoy the boat ride or walk to the castle, making it feel like false advertising since those were listed as options. The trip to Ljubljana didn't engage me and felt like a waste, especially with the long walk from the parking area to the old town. I would recommend spending more time at Bled and skipping Ljubljana entirely.

Juri proved to be an exceptional guide. He transported us and another family from the cruise terminal to the stunning Lake Bled, where he showcased the best scenic spots for photos. Next, we headed to Ljubljana, a city I didn't know much about but found to be incredibly beautiful. Juri allowed us free time for lunch at our chosen spot before leading us on a walking tour of the city's highlights. This tour was undoubtedly one of our favorites throughout the 11-day cruise.
