Established in 1938 following Sri Ramakrishna's ideals of religious unity, Belur Math features architectural elements from Hindu temples, Buddhist chaityas, Christian churches, and Islamic mosques. The visit will include the Sri Ramakrishna Temple, Old Shrine, Swami Brahmananda Temple, Holy Mother Temple, Swami Vivekananda Temple, the Samadhi Enclosure, Old Math, and the Ramakrishna Museum. • 9:30 AM - Dakshineswar Kali Temple Next, travel to the well-known Dakshineswar temple, home to Goddess Kali. Founded by Rani Rashmoni after a significant dream, the nine-spired Kali Temple is located in the courtyard. The idol of Kali, made of basalt and adorned in gold brocade, is particularly striking.
