We had an excellent experience with Kylie. She was very friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. We appreciated learning about both the historical and eerie aspects of each location.
We participated in this tour tonight and it was truly terrible. First, the operator was late; we were instructed to arrive at 7:45 for an 8 pm start, but he didn’t show up until 8. Second, no one in the group could hear him speak because he turned away from us, forcing us to keep moving around him just to catch what he was saying. Third, the entire tour lasted only 35 minutes. Additionally, we didn’t visit any of the locations that were promised. The fragments of stories we could hear were unimpressive, and when I asked for a refund for this disappointing event, I was met with a refusal.
We had a very enjoyable and fascinating evening. There was plenty of information to absorb, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We strongly recommend this tour.
Derek provided an incredible tour filled with valuable insights. It was also enjoyable to take in the architecture of Downtown Knoxville during our honeymoon date night.
The night was very cold, and we waited outside an abandoned building for 20 minutes before our guide arrived. Although he was punctual, the site suggests arriving 15 minutes early, which isn't needed. The guide spoke softly, making it difficult to hear him over traffic noise. I was let down that we didn't go inside any of the buildings mentioned in the tour description; it was strictly a street tour.
You would expect a ghost tour to include ghost stories, but that wasn’t the case here. Instead, we got an overly energetic 19-year-old guide who rambled about her friends, her favorite board games, and a dead bird she discovered. When we reached out to the company for a refund, they were rude and only offered two free vouchers for another tour. I recommend avoiding this misleading “ghost tour” to save both your money and your time.
The tour guide was incredible, but my overall experience fell short of expectations. The promotional material suggested a much more immersive experience than what was delivered. I wouldn't suggest this tour to my friends.
This was an excellent experience for families. The tour provided an enjoyable way to learn about the area's history. Our guide shared spooky tales while skillfully gauging the group's comfort level, ensuring the kids weren't frightened but still offering interesting facts for adults. I appreciated her ability to adapt the experience to our preferences.
The operator canceled the tour, and I am not pleased at all.
Liz had a wealth of knowledge about Knoxville, making the tour enjoyable and entertaining. It was truly a wonderful experience.
