Booking the rainforest tour Vermont Nature Trail with Fraser's taxi and tours was an excellent choice. At the meeting point, the owner was there with Fraser to guide our group through an informative nature trail. He shared fascinating insights about local plants and answered participants' questions with impressive knowledge. He also shared some amusing stories, allowing us to learn more about the island and its inhabitants. Following the nature trail, we visited a postcard-perfect beach—sandy and serene, with chic bars nearby playing music and creating a lively atmosphere. On Mr. Fraser's recommendation, we tried his favorite bar with stunning beach views. We enjoyed cocktails and local dishes, making good use of our time for both snacks and relaxation. After savoring a special rum punch from Fraser, we returned to the starting point. Overall, it was a fantastic tour that provided us with a memorable day.
Fraser was an excellent guide who went above and beyond for us. His knowledge of the fauna, trees, and wildlife along the trail was impressive. He was friendly, entertaining, a safe driver, and well-informed about St Vincent. I would certainly recommend Fraser and would join another of his tours.
Fraser Taxi cancelled our tour on the same day, and another taxi company notified us just 10 minutes after our scheduled pick-up.
The rainforest trail in St. Vincent was fantastic. Fraser was patient, engaging, and enthusiastic about helping us spot native birds. Despite running behind schedule for reasons outside his control, he ensured we visited all the planned locations and even extended the tour for our enjoyment. The hike was quite demanding, which wasn't highlighted in the descriptions, so those not in good shape might want to consider other options. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun.
Fraser truly enhanced our hiking experience on the island. He offers affordable prices, nearly half that of Sandals, along with clean vehicles stocked with snacks, water, and beer. His knowledge of the area, including its topography, plants, and wildlife like parrots, was impressive. He provided hiking sticks and rain gear when needed and tailored our hike to suit our ages and fitness levels. Reaching the summit, we enjoyed seeing parrots soar against the misty jungle backdrop. Fraser listened attentively and shared insightful observations about the jungle, including how the Vincys manage this resource and its effects on the island. The journey from Sandals took about an hour, followed by around three hours of hiking in total, both up and down. Fraser made this hike truly remarkable, setting it apart from other trails we have explored. Without him, this rainforest trek would not have been nearly as memorable.
I had a wonderful experience hiking the Vermont Nature trail. The pickup was right on time, and Fraser proved to be a safe driver with extensive knowledge of the rainforest's plants and animals. He took his time to highlight various species. We were fortunate to see and hear a flock of parrots with vibrant yellow markings flying overhead. This will surely be a cherished memory. While the hike is muddy and has steep areas, I wouldn't describe it as difficult.
This was an excellent tour with Fraser's taxi and tours in the rainforest. It's a must-do experience. The owner led the tour personally, providing both informative and entertaining insights. Mr. Fraser always had a humorous remark ready. Our small group consisted of just eight people, and the pickup from the port was seamless. Everything was very well organized. We would happily take this tour again and highly recommend it.
I booked a private tour with Fraser. He picked us up promptly and took us to the trail. The tour lasted about four hours, and it was important to take the walking sticks provided, as the terrain can be challenging in spots. We were lucky enough to see several parrots, although they weren't very active. Overall, this experience was excellent, and Fraser was generous with water, beer, and mangos. A decent level of fitness is required.
The trip was excellent. With just three participants, it felt very personal and provided a wealth of information. I appreciate it once more.
The tour with Fraser was fantastic. He provided a wealth of information about the island as we made our way to the Vermont Trail. Snacks like bananas and melon were offered, and we ended at Fraser's Rumpunch beach. The Vermont Trail is very interesting, but it's important to be in good physical shape since there are roots and uphill sections. Along the trail, you'll learn about various plants, and there's a chance to spot parrots. There's no need for headgear or a backpack; you can leave those on the bus at Fraser's, and a walking stick is provided. Clean restrooms are available on the Vermont Trail. The return was spent on the beach, which was not very appealing. It's better to head left towards the hotel beach for swimming or to rent a lounger from the locals for the hour.
