Approximately four hours by taxi — visit Fort Charlotte, see Walliabou, swim at Buccament Beach, with commentary from an experienced driver.
This four-hour taxi tour begins at Fort Charlotte, where you can explore the historical site before moving towards Walliabou, famous for its connection to the Pirates of the Caribbean film. En route, you'll get a view of the island’s stunning Windward coastline.
After learning about the history of St. Vincent from your driver, you'll arrive at Walliabou Heritage Park. Here, you can relax, swim beneath mini waterfalls, or enjoy the crystal-clear waters at Buccament Beach. With 15 years of experience leading tours, your driver ensures a knowledgeable and engaging experience throughout. Note that group tours require a minimum of four participants; otherwise, options for a shared private tour or a fully private tour are available.

Saint Vincent is a visually stunning island. 1. The fortress offers great views of the harbor and the surrounding area. The guide skillfully explained the background with images, but we weren't informed that a $4 per person fee for the guide was required; our reservation indicated admission was included. 2. Walliabou Heritage Park is small with just a few flowering plants, and we had expected more. Twenty minutes is more than enough time for the visit. Although our reservation showed admission was paid, the taxi driver initially asked us to pay again. 3. The Pirates of the Caribbean site was overcrowded with tourists and traffic. Despite that, the bay is lovely, and the scenery along with the Pratenfriedhof has some interesting aspects. 4. The swimming beach has some free areas (without sunbeds) and offers a nice small sandy bay with shade. The staff is friendly but often tries to sell drinks. The taxi driver was poorly informed about the paid services and drove in a way that was not advantageous, hardly shifting gears, and he also did not adequately avoid an oncoming vehicle on the wrong side of the road.
The pirate tour on January 3rd was truly enjoyable. Mrs. Coffee, our guide, was outstanding; she provided excellent explanations, made stops based on our preferences, and shared a wealth of information. At the end, we opted to forego swimming at the beach to explore the area and chat with other guides. It was a wonderful day. Best wishes from the tall blonde girl from Germany who mentioned the "klapperklapper girls." I miss you, Mrs. Coffee. Christiane & Dirk
Booking this tour ahead of our cruise was a great decision. Our driver, Brian, was informative about St. Vincent and kept the entertainment going throughout. He made the experience enjoyable. The cold beer was a nice touch, and the rum punch was outstanding. We highly recommend Trubb Taxi Service.
The tour operator was outstanding and provided a lot of valuable information. While the beach we explored didn't meet our expectations, the snorkeling was enjoyable. Fort Charlotte was impressive, and our guide there was particularly knowledgeable.
Sammy, our guide, and Massive, the driver, were fantastic, making our day both informative and enjoyable. The rum punch was strong and enjoyable, which was necessary given the narrow roads. This tour offered excellent value, lasting a full 6.5 hours.
I enjoyed my day exploring St Vincent. However, the tour didn't match the itinerary as Charlotte Fort was closed, and instead, we spent two hours at a beach. The film set from Pirates of the Caribbean was impressive.
This experience is truly a must-do and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Our guide, Sammy, was both knowledgeable and professional. Be sure to try the rum punch as well.
The scenery was stunning and engaging. Our guide was extremely flexible and attentive to our needs, helping us navigate a hiccup in our plans to ensure a successful day.
The experience was disappointing. We felt disrespected and received incorrect timing information from the guide, which almost left us stranded. It definitely wasn’t worth it.
The contract was not honored. We booked a minibus taxi, but ended up crammed into a larger bus without any explanation. The tour route was not followed as promised. We had a 30-minute stop at a private beach, but were chased away by security who only allowed us on one side. The guide pulled us out of the water after just half an hour, leading to a visit to a rundown park that had nothing to do with the pictures advertised by the provider. Ultimately, we received a partial refund, but we are left very dissatisfied.
