The tour showcased the stunning Windward side of St. Vincent, where we witnessed varied landscapes and the aftermath of the 2021 volcanic eruption. Owia Salt Pond was breathtaking and luckily uncrowded, allowing us to enjoy its natural beauty and fascinating wildlife, including a zebra eel. Do keep in mind that reaching the Salt Pond involves over 200 steps, which may present challenges for those with mobility issues, and sturdy footwear is recommended for navigating the rocky areas. There’s a lovely picnic area above the pond, offering accessible views of the ocean. The exploration of Black Point Tunnel was captivating and highlighted the island's history. Our Tour Guide provided outstanding service, demonstrating great knowledge and flexibility to meet our needs. I highly suggest this tour.
Our tour with Top Dawg was fantastic. Levin, our drummer, provided a wealth of information as we visited Black Point Tunnel and Salt Pond. The views were stunning. The water levels at Salt Pond were low, and since we forgot our water shoes, it was tricky to enter. Kevin then took us to a local restaurant for delicious rotis before showing us his farm. We gained plenty of knowledge during this wonderful trip.
