An exceptional experience with TopDawg Tours. Communication was excellent, as they were quick to respond via WhatsApp to any inquiries. Our driver, Kevin, arrived on time, was polite, knowledgeable, and a genuinely cool person. The journey from the resort to La Soufriere is itself part of the adventure, taking almost two hours and showcasing various fascinating areas of the island with stunning views. Upon reaching La Soufriere, Thomas, our guide, was fantastic. He provided insightful details about the volcano, local flora, and the island's history. One member of our group required more frequent stops, and he was very accommodating, even assisting her down a slippery section. This full-day tour, from 8 AM to 5 PM, is absolutely worthwhile for anyone visiting St. Vincent and became the highlight of my trip.
The volcano is a must-see on St Vincent. The hike was enjoyable, and the guiding was excellent. The only downside was that the driver was quite fast during the journey, though I've experienced similar speeds with other taxis.
The journey began with a scenic coach ride to the hike's starting point, leading to a stunning and vibrant trail as I made my way to the volcano's summit. Our guide was highly informative, sharing a wealth of historical insights about the volcano and its surroundings. I strongly suggest this tour for anyone considering the hike, and I would definitely participate again. 10/10.
Before the hike, we were each given a walking stick. The trek up La Soufriere volcano with our guide and driver was enjoyable, and we even saw Lava Man along the way. While the damp weather limited our views into the crater, we occasionally caught glimpses of the lake due to the strong winds on the ridge. After indulging in plenty of snacks, we descended and ended the adventure with some rum punch.
Kevin was a fantastic driver and shared plenty of interesting insights about St. Vincent. We made a stop at a local beach, requiring us to park in someone's backyard. Our hiking guide, John, had completed this hike 140 times last year and provided extensive knowledge about the plants and the volcanoes. It was a challenging hike for most, but definitely worth it!
This tour company provided exceptional service during our experience. The transportation was punctual, and the driver skillfully navigated the sometimes challenging Vinci roads. Our guide, Kevin, was well-informed about the island's ecology. Although I couldn't complete the steep final portion of the hike, I appreciated that the pace was set according to the slowest member of the group. The snacks and drinks were excellent, and the staff was friendly and offered helpful local suggestions. I highly recommend this tour company.
The hike accurately matched the “moderate difficulty” description. Our guide, John, was exceptional; his knowledge and wisdom impressed us. This experience was a highlight not just of our holiday week, but of our entire year.
The hike was excellent, led by Tallman, who was very thoughtful about matching the pace to suit everyone involved.
The hike was challenging, but our guide, Tall Man, and our driver were fantastic, providing us with excellent fruit snacks, juice, and rum to boost our energy. It gets breezy by the volcano, so bringing a light jacket could be wise. Highly recommend for anyone visiting St. Vincent.
Our experience was fantastic and a standout moment of our visit to SVG. We were conveniently picked up and dropped off at Sandals. They supplied fruit, snacks, water, and rum punch, with only a $5 per person entry fee required for the hike. Barris and John excelled at showcasing both the volcano and the local culture. I would highly recommend this activity.
