The trip to Dark View Falls with Devon was fantastic. He was an excellent communicator from the beginning and drove us safely from our hotel up to the falls, advising us about the windy roads. Devon shared valuable insights about the island during our journey. At the falls, he guided us to the first waterfall and encouraged us to explore the higher one at our own pace, ensuring there was no rush. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves. After enjoying some drinks, he drove us to a viewpoint of the volcano and shared details about its eruption. On the return, he kindly offered to stop at a park, but we declined due to travel arrangements. Overall, he was very friendly, not at all pushy, and offered a better price than our hotel.
We were extremely fortunate to meet Devon and his wife Abi, who served as our official guides and taxi drivers for two days. They took us to some of the most beautiful spots in SVG, including Belmont View Point, Montreal Gardens, Dark Falls, the Heritage Gardens, and the old Pirates of the Caribbean set. We also saw the remnants of the volcano's lava flow and various local villages. While they offered drinks, we made a stop to enjoy the best rum punch and a delicious fish lunch. We gained so much knowledge from them about the history, geography, and culture—truly an amazing experience and great value for our money. I recommend using fully insured and vetted guides, so be sure to check their vehicle’s number and date. Their friendly personalities, humor, and patience with our many photos made these two days truly memorable.
Devon and his partner provided an outstanding experience. I enjoyed a wonderful day, exploring all the sights outlined in the itinerary, along with numerous stops for beautiful views and back roads to observe daily life on the island. They were very knowledgeable.
