Reviews
The experience is decent for passing the time, but the views are underwhelming, and for much of the cruise, the guide steps away. The onboard band was somewhat bothersome; we would have appreciated some quiet to enhance the relaxation of the boat ride.
This journey was lengthy but absolutely stunning, enhanced by a fantastic secretary. I will always remember Donna for her deep understanding of the real estate market, which we appreciated. Roger, the banjo player, added a unique touch to the experience that felt fresh and rare in public performances. I gladly recommend this trip.
Even though the weather was overcast, I appreciated the scenery. The music was great, and the guide shared captivating information. I just wished we could have explored more of the thousand islands, as they were quite fascinating.
The trip was quite enjoyable, and the crew was friendly. I appreciated all the sites we visited, although it could have been slightly shorter as it felt a bit drawn out and repetitive at times.
It was captivating, educational, engaging, and incredibly beautiful. I gained a wealth of knowledge about Canadian history.
The views are stunning, but the noise level on the cruise significantly detracted from the experience. The guide's loud commentary and the American tourists belting out songs made it quite unbearable. If given another chance, we would opt for a private tour, even at a higher cost. Don't forget to bring noise-canceling headphones if you have them.
The cruise offers an engaging experience with a knowledgeable historian providing excellent commentary. The scenery is beautiful, and the insights are captivating, especially given the proximity to the USA. There’s also entertainment between talks that adds to the enjoyment. Light food and drinks are available on board. It’s a fantastic opportunity to delve into the maritime history of Kingston and the St. Lawrence River. However, the paddle steamer's exterior is quite old and not well maintained, and the toilets were unclean and lacked paper towels, despite notifying the bar staff. Overall, it's definitely worth the journey.
This was a truly delightful experience. The captain and the entire crew were incredibly kind and attentive. The cruise itself was spotless and well-maintained. I highly recommend it.
They will cancel your booking without notice, even if you reserve months in advance. After planning a trip with family traveling from afar, I was disappointed when they canceled the cruise weeks before. Their customer service is extremely disrespectful, and I cannot recommend relying on them.
Pleasant boat trip with very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it.
