Our adventure with owner Bob and Desert Wonder Tours to the west Grand Canyon, highlighted by a stop at the Grand Canyon Western Dude Ranch for lunch, was truly memorable. The tour was excellently organized, providing stunning views of the canyon and a charming break at the ranch. Cowboy Dave’s songs and stories during our hearty meal added a delightful rustic touch to our outing. Our guide, Brandon, was outstanding—knowledgeable about the area's history and natural wonders, and always considerate, taking photos for us whenever we requested. We highly recommend the tour and Brandon for anyone eager to discover this remarkable destination.
We had an amazing personalized tour with Desert Wonder Adventures, with just five of us, including our guide Brandon. His in-depth knowledge of the local culture and geography was impressive. Living in the area, he shared insights that you wouldn't find on a typical tour bus. We enjoyed a delightful lunch at a cozy local ranch, complete with live music and historical anecdotes. I highly recommend Desert Wonder Adventures.
Brendon was both our driver and guide, and he did a fantastic job. His personal stories added a lot to the tour's interest and information. The lunch stop at the ranch was enjoyable, and we met some wonderful people along the way.
We truly enjoyed our experience. Brandon was an outstanding tour guide, sharing his extensive knowledge and engaging conversation. The views were stunning, and I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. We also returned to Vegas at a convenient hour. Be sure to add it to your itinerary.
With the benefit of hindsight, I'm really glad we opted for this 6-person tour instead of a large bus. I had initial doubts when I first met Brandon, as he appeared a bit rugged in jeans, boots, and a baseball cap, and his van didn't look pristine either, especially after the bumpy ride from the hotel. However, I quickly realized that Brandon was born to be a guide, even though it isn't his primary job. He is a retired musician and music store owner, with a background in antique stores and heavy equipment operation. He now lives his dream as a Grand Canyon rescue volunteer, repel master instructor, and leads backpacking and whitewater adventures, while also coordinating extreme desert racing events. I was truly impressed by how all his diverse skills enriched our experience. It was clear he was genuine, as I have some similarities from my time with the 5th Special Forces Group. Most notably, he shared his efforts leading Grand Canyon river trips for disabled veterans at no charge, which speaks volumes about his character.
The tour of the Grand Canyon was a remarkable and informative adventure through the stunning landscapes of Northern Arizona. With a small group, we explored the desert at our own pace. Our guide, Brandon, shared captivating stories and insights about the region's history, geology, and indigenous cultures. Viewing the Grand Canyon was truly unforgettable and an awesome experience.
This experience was truly delightful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. If you're visiting Laughlin, this is essential. Bob, the owner, was wonderful, and the singing cowboy, Casey, was a unique treasure. The food and service at the Ranch were exceptional. I plan to bring my grandkids on the next trip. Mark
We are grateful to Bob and Desert Wonder Adventures for their excellent service during our Grand Canyon rafting trip. They were punctual, friendly, and offered valuable advice. Bob was particularly accommodating when we had a change in our plans, which we truly appreciated.
This was an incredible experience. Ed was friendly and well-informed about the local history, the canyon, and the indigenous cultures. He made the journey to and from enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him and the company.
At first, I thought it was quite pricey, but I soon realized it was worth every penny. We gained so much from this experience. Ed was not just a tour guide; he was a delightful presence, deeply proud and passionate about his canyon. I appreciated not being on a large bus, as we often found ourselves completely alone at various spots. By the end of the day, it felt like I was bidding farewell to a friend. I will always cherish this incredible day.
