Half-day trip to Jebel Harim from Khasab

This half-day safari takes you to Jebel Harim, at 2000 metres the highest peak in Musandam. The area is steeped in local history, named for the days when women used to retreat to its caves to evade pirates and rival tribes while their men were away. While access to the summit is restricted due to a radar station, the drive offers panoramic views back towards Khasab and over to Dibba.

Along the route, keep an eye out for fascinating fossils, remnants of ancient marine life, scattered among the rocks. The tour operates from Khasab, with a duration of approximately four hours. Dress in comfortable clothing suitable for mountain weather.
