We took a tour to the Similan Islands and had a very satisfying experience overall. Although the ride from our hotel in Phuket to the port was quite lengthy, the minibus was comfortable. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, though it did take about an hour, which felt a bit excessive. Before we set off, we were thoughtfully given motion sickness tablets. They also provided towels and beach slippers, which added to the experience. The boat ride was a bit bumpy, and some passengers got sick, but the staff managed everything very professionally and ensured everyone was taken care of. There were ample soft drinks and water available throughout the trip. We were served a plentiful lunch, along with fresh fruit and Thai cookies for dessert—no one would go hungry on this outing. The Similan Islands are absolutely gorgeous, featuring bright white sand and crystal-clear waters that are truly awe-inspiring. On our return, we were greeted with a hearty dinner and the ride back to the hotel was well organized, with us arriving at the port around 6:00 PM. One suggestion would be to extend the trip by an hour to allow guests to experience the sunset from the boat, which would enhance the overall enjoyment. Additionally, cutting down the breakfast wait time would improve things. Overall, I genuinely appreciated the trip and would certainly recommend it.
The experience was excellent, with 800 cars available for pick up, three meals included, and a comfortable coach. It was enjoyable and overall very nice.
I had an unforgettable experience on the Similan trip. Jasmine was outstanding in her care for us. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when I lost my camera; they all pitched in to assist. When I scratched my nose and it wouldn't stop bleeding, Jasmine provided excellent medical care. I'm truly grateful for everything. I loved the trip.
We booked the Similan Island tour with Seven Plus Travel on the boat named "Dream Voyager." Unfortunately, our experience was largely disappointing. The tour was conducted in both English and Chinese, but much of the information was provided in Chinese, resulting in a scarcity of English explanations that were often hard to comprehend. The transfer arrangement was also subpar. The driver arrived late and drove quite fast, which made us feel unsafe. While the provider claimed the tour starts later to avoid crowds, we found the islands to still be quite busy with many tourists at various stops. At the first island, we were not informed that we needed to wade through water to reach the shore. Had we known this beforehand, we would have donned our swimwear earlier. When we attempted to change briefly on location, we felt pressured by the tour guide, which made us uncomfortable. The boat is marketed as the only one with sleeping berths; however, these come at an additional fee. The overall space on the boat felt cramped due to the crowd, and the photos don't accurately reflect the reality. Additionally, passengers weren't allowed to move around freely on the boat; we had to remain seated or stand in the aisles most of the time. In summary, we had higher expectations for this tour.
