Reviews
We thoroughly enjoyed the bamboo rafting experience; it was both calming and beautiful. Watching the monkeys jump into the pond to finish off the day was entertaining. Our guide Aommy was extremely friendly and accommodating.
This was a wonderful trip featuring a stunning viewpoint and an enjoyable river tour, along with an intriguing visit to the temple and monkey point. The guides and helpers were very nice. I highly recommend it.
This tour was fantastic. Our guide was very friendly and loved sharing insights about Thai culture while answering our questions. Visiting the monkey temple was entertaining with monkeys everywhere. She also educated us about Buddhism during the temple visit. The bamboo rafting was enjoyable, set against stunning jungle scenery, and we appreciated the coffee served in a handmade bamboo cup during our break. I highly recommend this experience.
The guide did not provide any explanations during our visit. Although we don't speak English, we expected some translation efforts, particularly since it was only the two of us.
This tour was ideal for families with young children! It truly felt like an adventure, packed with activities yet not hurried. Our kids enjoyed every moment. The guide and driver were excellent, the transport was comfortable, and communication was top-notch. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
The tour offered a wonderful opportunity to explore the jungle aspect of Thailand. The river rafting was both beautiful and safe, and the coffee was outstanding. Our guide, Gay, was very engaging and provided insights while customizing the experience to fit our interests and schedule.
We had an excellent tour guide who was both friendly and attentive. She connected well with our daughters and significantly enhanced our experience. The elephant sanctuary was a fantastic and surreal part of the day. Bamboo rafting was enjoyable, even in the rain; it felt serene and we could have easily spent the entire day on the river. The viewpoint offered stunning scenery, and the lunch spot also had a lovely atmosphere with delicious food, though we found the portions to be a bit excessive. The only slight drawback was the Monkey Temple. While it was nice to see the monkeys, the site itself wasn't particularly engaging. Overall, it was a wonderful trip, especially for families with young children who might struggle with a long hike.
Our experience with Khao Lak Planner was exceptional. We participated in three different tours, all expertly handled by Toto, who is incredibly knowledgeable and simplifies the booking process. He ensures small group sizes, with no more than 8 people, making each tour feel intimate and unhurried, creating unforgettable memories. It's clear that this company prioritizes the environment and local communities, allowing us to feel our impact was minimal and that our spending supported smaller areas. All three tours featured Gay as our guide, and she was delightful—funny, knowledgeable, and fluent in English. She made everyone feel at ease while revealing hidden gems and offering excellent restaurant recommendations. We truly miss Thailand and Khao Lak and feel fortunate to have met Gay. We highly recommend this tour company and look forward to returning to try more of what they offer.
The afternoon was truly enjoyable, lasting about 4 to 5 hours. Feeding the monkeys was a delightful experience, and the rafting offered a tranquil journey amid stunning scenery. We had a break for bamboo coffee and appreciated being able to keep the bamboo cup. Our raft guide was well-versed in English and shared valuable insights about the local nature. The driver was also friendly, making a stop on our return for photos at one of the scenic viewpoints.
Our afternoon trip to Khao Sok National Park was fantastic. Our enthusiastic guide, Gay, made the experience unforgettable. We were driven in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan by Alex, who ensured smooth transportation between sites. The park's scenery is breathtaking and definitely worth the journey. Bamboo rafting offered stunning views, and we were fortunate to see an elephant bathing with its mahout nearby. The small group size (maximum of 8) and the comfort of the vehicle added a luxurious and personal touch to the tour, leading us to book another equally wonderful experience. Thank you for making our holiday so special.
