As you navigate the tranquil waters, you’ll reach the Khao Sam Kloe limestone mountain and have the chance to explore Prakai Petch Cave, also known as Diamond Cave, where you can see remarkable stalagmites and stalactites. Lunch is served at a floating restaurant, featuring traditional Thai cuisine while you take in the surrounding beauty. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing; you'll spend much of the day outdoors.

We had a fantastic day filled with various activities. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters allowed us to see beautiful fish and playful otters nearby. Just a tip: the rocks for entering and exiting the water can be very slippery, so it's wise to wear beach shoes for better grip. The long boat ride offered breathtaking scenery, and the food on the island was delicious, complemented by the friendliness of the locals. When exploring the caves, be cautious of the slippery floors. Our only suggestion for improvement is that there could be better guidance on what items to bring and suitable footwear, as flip-flops were not ideal for all activities. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, thanks to Mone and Keng for being our guide and driver throughout the day.
We arranged this tour 4-5 days in advance, but two days prior, we received an email stating that it was fully booked, despite the initial confirmation of availability. They offered to move us to the next date, which didn’t work for us since we would be leaving the country. They proposed to cancel our tour and issue a refund but did not apologize for taking over 250 USD for a service they had no intention of providing. By then, it was too late to make alternative plans. Despite several requests, the refund process did not begin until I contacted customer service directly. Proceed with caution.
The company canceled our tour the day before, even though they had already charged us. They suggested rescheduling for the next day, but that was when we were returning home. It was quite disappointing.
I booked this trip two days ago, but an hour after they took my money, they cancelled it. It seems like this has happened before, which is very disappointing. They claimed it was fully booked, but that should have been known when I reserved. They offered an alternative date, but we will have left by then. I have concerns they might cancel that date too. I regret not listening to past reviews and hope to get my money back without issues, as others have experienced problems.
We enjoyed an amazing full-day tour at Cheow Larn Lake. Opting for a small group meant just six of us, which enhanced the experience. Our day began with a coffee break before we visited Headwater Forest and took some time to relax in Nam Rad Watershed Creek. Next, we made our way to the dam. Although the port was bustling, we had our own longtail boat, and our excellent guide took care of our national park fees and escorted us to our vessel. The reservoir's scenery, featuring breathtaking limestone karsts, was unforgettable. We were fortunate with the weather and thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Khao Sok Smiley Lakehouse, which catered to my gluten-free requirements. We had the opportunity to swim and unwind before proceeding to the caves. There, our fantastic guide provided insights into the history and highlighted the cave system's best features, and we were lucky to have the area to ourselves. After returning to the port, we boarded our mini bus and made one final stop at the dam viewpoint before heading back to our hotel. It was a long but remarkable day.
The tour was canceled just a day before our scheduled date. While they did offer to reschedule for another day, we would not be available. No explanation was given for the cancellation, but we did receive a full refund.
We enjoyed a wonderful day with our friendly guide Eye, who spoke French. The entire tour was exceptionally organized, from the pick-up to the drop-off, featuring several great stops and ample time to appreciate the breathtaking views of Cheow Lan.
The excursion offers stunning landscapes worth experiencing. However, the guide was not very engaging and provided little information, merely indicating the meeting point and time. Important details on what to bring were communicated only at the last minute, catching everyone off guard. Overall, it's a fantastic outing but the guiding was subpar.
This journey was truly worthwhile. We experienced stunning locations that we will treasure for a lifetime. Our gratitude goes to Jojo for maintaining such a joyful atmosphere and to Vivi for ensuring our safe travels.
