• In the morning, pick up from your hotel in Khajuraho will take place, followed by a visit to the remarkable series of Khajuraho Temples. The tour will focus on the Western group of temples, where you will observe the stunning intricacies and be impressed by the architecture. Notable temples to visit include Kandariya Mahadeo, Lakshmana, Chaunsath Yogini, Paravati, Varaha, Vishvanath, Nandi, Chitragupta, and Devi Jagadamba. • Next, you will visit the State Museum of Tribal and Folk Art, which houses over 500 tribal antiques, folk paintings, jewelry, masks, terracotta artifacts, metal crafts, and bamboo items. The museum also illustrates the evolution of different forms, styles, and designs that have developed over the centuries. Lunch at a restaurant will be offered as an optional addition after visiting the Tribal Museum. • Later, you will proceed to the Khajuraho Archaeological Museum, which is organized into four galleries: Vaishnava, Saiva, Jaina, and Miscellaneous. The exhibits include sculptures and architectural remains from the 10th to 12th centuries, reflecting influences from Hindu and Jainism. The museum features more than 2000 items, with highlights including Nritta Gansha, Uma-Maheshwara, Andhakasuravadhamurti, and Vaikuntha. • Finally, you will visit the Eastern Group of Temples, including a drive past Brahma Temple, followed by visits to Vamana Temple and Jain Temple.
