Pickup is available from hotels in the city center or designated locations within city limits. An additional charge will apply if the pickup location is outside these central areas, based on the distance.

• Pickup will be arranged from your hotel for the 4-hour journey to Orchha, a town from the 15th century located by the River Betwa. Upon arrival in Orchha, lunch (beverages not included) will be taken at a local restaurant before beginning the visit. Following lunch, the Raj Mahal will be visited, a palace from the 17th century adorned with colorful murals illustrating religious themes. The next stop will be Jahangir Mahal, a palace built to honor Mughal Emperor Jahangir's visit to Orchha. The Chaturbhuj temple represents another significant architectural site, originally constructed to contain idols now situated within the Ram Raja temple. Additionally, the Laxmi Narayan temple is noteworthy for its unique architectural style that merges features of both fort and temple, showcasing beautifully preserved wall murals depicting mythological stories. Orchha features 14 cenotaphs or chhatris nestled within well-maintained gardens, serving as memorials for the rulers of Orchha. • The journey will then continue with a 30-minute drive to Jhansi, located in Uttar Pradesh. Jhansi was the location of India's first war of independence in 1857, led by Queen Rani Laxmi Bai. The Jhansi Fort and the Palace of Rani Laxmi Bai, now a museum, will be explored. The Government Museum contains various historical artifacts, with the entire first floor dedicated to Rani Laxmi Bai. The tour will conclude with a return drive to your hotel in Khajuraho.
