Pickup is available for travelers at hotels located in the city center or at designated points within city limits. If pickup is requested from locations outside these central areas, an additional fee will apply based on the distance.

• The journey begins with a hotel pickup for a 4-hour drive to Orchha, a town from the 15th century located along the River Betwa. Upon arrival in Orchha, lunch will be taken at a local restaurant (cost not included) before commencing the tour. • Following lunch, the first site to visit is Raj Mahal, a 17th-century palace adorned with colorful murals illustrating religious themes. The next stop is Jahangir Mahal, a palace constructed in honor of Mughal Emperor Jahangir's visit to Orchha. • Chaturbhuj Temple is another notable architectural site, originally built to house idols now located in the Ram Raja Temple, it currently holds the idols of Radha-Krishna. • Another significant temple is Laxmi Narayan Temple, which showcases a unique blend of fort and temple architecture, featuring well-preserved wall murals that depict mythological stories. • Orchha is also home to 14 cenotaphs or chhatris, set within well-maintained gardens, serving as memorials to the rulers of Orchha. • The itinerary includes a drive to Jhansi, approximately a 30-minute journey from Orchha, located in Uttar Pradesh. This area is historically significant as the site of India's first war of independence in 1857, led by Queen Rani Laxmi Bai. Visitors will explore Jhansi Fort and the Palace of Rani Laxmi Bai, which has been transformed into a museum. The Government Museum contains various historical artifacts, with the entire first floor focused on Rani Laxmi Bai. • The tour concludes with a return drive to your hotel in Khajuraho.
