The team was exceptional, reaching out the day prior to discuss the weather and inform us of our choices due to the high waves. We chose to proceed and had an enjoyable, albeit challenging, time.
My church used to take this company for snorkeling every year before the pandemic. Since then, the price has doubled, and there were both divers and snorkelers on board. Although we had a pleasant experience, it felt like the boat was overbooked. My husband and I had to sit on coolers, which wasn't comfortable. The water was quite choppy, and I tend to get motion sick, so I prefer to get off the boat quickly. Unfortunately, the divers disembarked first, resulting in an additional 10-minute wait. The dive sites were fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a shipwreck, making the trip worthwhile for me. The second site offered less to see, with fewer fish and just some water plants, but it was still enjoyable. It's disheartening to witness the reefs losing their vibrant colors due to pollution. I remember a time when the underwater world was bright and colorful during my previous visits.
The crew was fantastic, and Captain Dave was not only safe and skilled but also quite humorous. We visited two deep snorkeling locations and encountered a lot of fish, plus we even spotted an eagle ray swimming by. This is definitely a reliable company for an enjoyable snorkeling experience.
Sea Dwellers is an outstanding company with friendly staff that prioritize safety and are very accommodating. Tony and Erica stood out for their great service. The snorkeling experience was exceptional, with visits to both a shipwreck and a beautiful reef. Despite my worries about the depth for snorkeling, the visibility was fantastic, making it easy to see all the marine life. My husband and I had a wonderful time and rated it among our best snorkeling experiences, and we've participated in many. If you're thinking about this adventure, go for it—it's definitely worth it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and encountered plenty of fish. The first stop offered more visibility compared to the second, but we did spot dolphins while heading to the next location. Erika was fantastic with my teenager who was having difficulty with snorkeling, and the entire crew made sure she had a positive experience. By the end, she was smiling!
My husband and I truly enjoyed our experience. We departed the dock at 1pm and came back at 4pm. The cost of $140 for both of us was fair for a three-hour snorkeling tour. Krissy, Erica, and Merlin (also known as Jacob) were outstanding hosts. We never felt hurried, and their instructions were excellent.
The team was outstanding: professional, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable.
This was an incredible experience for me. We encountered numerous new fish species and had a great time, particularly with Emily and Marlin.
Emily and Captain David demonstrated exceptional skills, prioritizing safety while making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. The locations were unparalleled, and my friend and I had an incredible time with them.
I rarely write reviews, especially negative ones, but our guided snorkel tour was so disappointing that I must express my frustration. Upon arrival at Sea Dwellers Dive Center, we were informed their boat was under maintenance and directed to a different location. After struggling to find where we were supposed to be, we discovered others were waiting for the same tour. Eventually, we set off 30 minutes late after an additional 45 minutes of waiting. The only highlight was the stunning Molasses Reef. Unfortunately, the tour guides paid no attention to us snorkelers and were solely focused on the divers. While understanding the need for caution with diving, snorkelers were virtually ignored. There was a lack of communication about the situation, and we saw several people feeling unwell without any assistance. I highly recommend choosing a different company. Having experienced around 10 offshore tours, I can confidently say this was the worst. It pains me to leave such a poor review, but our experience was truly terrible.
