This was the best snorkeling experience I've ever had, largely due to the incredible guidance from Captain Brad and Scuba Joe. I traveled from Korea for this adventure, and despite my nerves, they made it truly unforgettable. Language barriers won't matter; you'll enjoy the tour regardless of your English skills.
Our experience was fantastic! Captain Brad, scuba Joe, and First Mate Nate were very engaging and ensured the group felt both safe and enjoyed. Snorkeling at the Elbow and Finger reefs revealed breathtaking views of fish, coral, and the Jesus statue. We would certainly book this again!
The tour was well organized with an excellent crew. We visited two different locations, including one featuring the Christ of the Abyss statue, which was a fantastic experience.
We arranged a snorkeling trip to the Christ of the Abyss at a coral reef for Easter Sunday, driving over four hours to reach the location. Just before our departure, we learned that the destination had changed to mangroves. We then spent another four hours swimming in murky water filled with seaweed, with no fish or marine life to be found. This was a deeply disappointing experience for me and my children. There was no communication regarding the change, and when we asked, our guide assured us we would still see colorful fish and wildlife like at the reef, but all we encountered was seaweed and murky water.
The entire week was too windy, resulting in trip cancellations. I joined the first trip they could run, but we visited a reef that offered little visibility, with minimal coral and fish. The second nearby location was similarly lackluster. I acknowledge this isn't their usual standard. I would still recommend them since there are many great spots to explore, and we were just affected by the weather. While the experience was better than nothing, it didn't match my past visits. Captain and his mate, Nate, did their best under the circumstances.
Make sure to call in advance to confirm that the route and conditions are suitable. I traveled 2.5 hours from Key West to see the Christ of the Deep statue, only to discover they weren't going to that reef. I felt let down. The staff was friendly, but they seemed to focus more on the larger group of divers on the outing.
The captain was fantastic; she was funny and well-informed, and she prioritized everyone's safety throughout the trip. She even pointed out the hole in the wall and reminded me to take off my shades while wearing the mask. Thanks to the entire crew.
The boat ride and the marine life were absolutely stunning. The colors and variety of species were remarkable, and the Jesus statue was a highlight. This is an essential experience when visiting the Keys.
The crew was fantastic, and the boat exceeded expectations. Captain Ron and Scuba Bob made the experience entertaining, and the staff at the scuba shop were friendly and courteous.
Captain Kate and Libr were outstanding. I highly recommend this experience. We snorkeled at two locations, and the equipment was top-notch. The instruction was great, and the hosts were fun and friendly.
