We arranged a private snorkeling tour for our family of five, opting for this instead of a group tour for more individualized attention, especially since four out of us had never snorkeled before. The captain was in communication with us the day before and on the morning of our excursion regarding the weather conditions. He offered us the choice to go ahead with the trip or receive a refund. Since it was our only available day for snorkeling, we decided to proceed, and we are incredibly thankful that we did! Our sons, aged 10 and 14, had a fantastic time. I strongly recommend a private tour if you have the opportunity. We will certainly consider doing this again if we return to Florida.

Captain Bob was fantastic, sharing fascinating details about the reef's history and other intriguing facts, even though we’ve been visiting the Keys for 40 years. We've been on many snorkeling excursions before, but this one felt especially unique, exploring Pennekamp, which truly lived up to its reputation. The coral and tropical fish were stunning. The 2.5-hour tour was perfect for covering a good portion of the reef, and we spent around 90 minutes in the water, which went by swiftly. I enthusiastically recommend Snorkel the Keys, as both the team and equipment exceeded our expectations. It was entirely worth it.
