This was an excellent tour due to its flexibility. We were able to stop along the road to view wildlife. Additionally, our return time on the boat was adjusted to accommodate us. The pickup and drop-off at Ward Cove (Norwegian dock area) was also a great advantage.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Ketchikan! Nina, our guide, led us to all the key attractions and shared a wealth of information about the local history, scenery, and indigenous culture. With ages from 1.5 to 65 in our group, everyone had a great time. We spotted plenty of eagles and even saw a mother bear with her cubs!
This tour was very informative and offered an excellent introduction not only to Ketchikan but also to the indigenous communities of southern Alaska. I highly recommend it.
The guide, a local from Ketchikan, was fantastic and shared a wealth of historical knowledge. The salmon ladder was impressive, and I enjoyed learning about the totem poles.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and offered a great mix of nature experiences and insights into native heritage. We spotted a bear in the distance and enjoyed our time along the shore, where the kids had fun searching for crabs. Learning about Alaska's indigenous people was significant, and we appreciated the stories about totem poles.
This tour was fantastic. Our local guide, Hannah, was very informative and enjoyable to converse with. I highly recommend this private tour as a must-do experience.
A fantastic way to explore Ketchikan. Dan brings more than 50 years of local experience to the tour. We had a great time spending our morning with him.
Rebecca was truly delightful, serving as both a remarkable tour guide and an excellent teacher. Her insightful knowledge about her culture and that of nearby communities was incredible. The tour was exceptional; we even witnessed a black bear catching salmon, which was a fantastic experience. Thank you, Rebecca, from Baz and Shaz, the Australians.
Rebecca (Holland Jáat) was an excellent guide who provided a wealth of fascinating information. We witnessed salmon, a bear catching one, a stunning waterfall, and numerous totem poles with detailed insights. I highly recommend this private tour run by a local family.
We explored native culture and had a rich cultural experience, although we felt it could have included more of a city tour. Overall, we learned a great deal and highly recommend it.
